Wild Aloha Foundation presents “Monk Seal Matinee”

Raised and donated $1,000 to Hawaii Marine Animal Response

The goal of this fundraiser is to educate the community on the negative affects of human actions on our surrounding marine life, and to raise funds to donate to our featured organization, Hawaii Marine Animal Response, who is actively working on the front lines. It is our contribution that allows them to stay on the front lines rescuing and protecting the disappearing wildlife.

Join us for an afternoon of bubbly refreshments and a viewing of the film Racing Extinction!

“In the next 100 years, half of all species on Earth could disappear. There’s still time to turn this around though if each of us takes steps in the race to protect them. Our seemingly small actions do make a difference.” –Racing Extinction

Event begins at 2:30pm @ Park Lane, Movie Theater

Mahalo for being a part of the solution! See you at the event!

*A brief description about Racing Extinction: a team of artists and activists exposes the hidden world of extinction with never-before-seen images that will change the way we see the planet. Two worlds drive extinction across the globe, potentially resulting in the loss of half of all species. The international wildlife trade creates bogus markets at the expense of creatures that have survived on this planet for millions of years. And the other surrounds us, hiding in plain sight — a world that the oil and gas companies don’t want the rest of us to see. Using covert tactics and state-of-the-art technology, the Racing Extinction team exposes these two worlds in an inspiring affirmation to preserve life as we know it.
